Hi Mountain Princess...I build up the blacks slowly and blend well....the Fabriano paper has a good amount of toothiness to hang onto the graphite.

The background is now finished and I've started to add tone to the woman's body and started to model the arm and leg. This is probably about 6 hours in...about double that still to go I think.
